Dafydd Davies - Implantologist GDC 71688
Dafydd qualified at Bristol in 1996. He has recently completed a 'Tipton' Course where he has rececived an award for his clinical skills. Dafydd has a particular interest in Implant placement.
Anna Spragg - General Dental Practitioner GDC 82192
Anna Qualified from Leeds University in 2003. She joined Whitchurch Dental Studio in 2012.
Anna has a keen interest in preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
In 2005 Anna took time out to work with the charity Bridge2Aid to provide dental care to the population of Tanzania.
Anna has completed a national course in conscious sedation and a cosmetic orthodontic course.
In her spare time, Anna has more recently attended a course to increase her skills for rebuilding teeth cosmetically.
Anna enjoys socialising with her family and friends. She enjoys swimming, cycling, walking and traveling.
Magda Winogrodzka - General Dental Practitioner GDC 100373
Magda joined the team in 2014.
Niraj Patel - General Dental Practitioner GDC
Niraj graduated from the University of Manchester in 2004 and enjoys providing a variety of treatments with a particular interest in minimially invasive and preventitive Dentistry and provides Clear Aligners. In his spare time, Niraj enjoys outdoor pursuits.
Shahid Alam - General Dental Practitoner GDC
Shahid joined the practice in November 2023. He became a qualified dentist in 1986, graduating from the University of Punjab in Pakistan. Shahid has experience in both private and NHS dental practices, and his professional interests include endodontics and prosthodontics. In his leisure time, he enjoys travel, swimming, cycling, and spending time with his family.
Gill Barlow - Dental Hygienist GDC 6436
Gill qualified from Liverpool university Dental Hospital in 2004, since then she has worked in various practices, both NHS and private. Gill has working in Liverpool and Reading before recently relocating to Shropshire.
Gill enjoys putting patients at their ease and helping gain the best oral health fo the individual.
Gill is married with a 3 year old and has recently moved into a new house so is enjoying decorating it. She also likes spending time with her family and friends, reading and exercising.
Karen Rowley - Practice Manager GDC 179170
Karen has actively worked in Dentistry since 2007 and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the practice. Karen is a qualified tutor and holds certifications in implants, radiography, and impression taking. In her spare time Karen writes articles for Dental Nurse Network and enjoys photography and spending time with her family.
Gayle Cowley - Dental Nurse GDC 149192
Gayle has worked in private dentistry since 1999 and joined the practice in October 2016.
Her interest lies in Implantology.
In Gayle's spare time she loves to go walking with her dogs and travelling.
Charlotte Smith - Dental Nurse GDC 310384
Charlotte started working as a receptionist in 2018 and later became a qualified dental nurse in March 2023. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, crown green bowling, and spending time with her family and friends!
Rachel - Receptionist
Rachel has worked here as receptionist since June 2021, soon after moving to Whitchurch from London. Outside of work she enjoys walking her dogs, watching tennis and pub quizzes.
Yasmin - Dental Nurse 314392
Yaz started at the practice in 2022 as an apprentice dental nurse, she qualified in 2024. Yaz is intending to further her career with post graduate studies in the near future. Outside of work, Yaz enjoys spending time with her partner and shopping.
Rebecca - Dental Nurse GDC 314718
Rebecca started at the practice in 2021 as an apprentice dental nurse, she qualified in 2023. Her interests lies in implantology. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Sophie Egan - Dental Nurse
Sophie commenced her career as a dental nurse in 2014. She joined Whitchurch Dental Studio in 2022. Her compassionate and considerate nature helps patients feel comfortable. Sophie cherishes spending time with her family and enjoys creative activities with her two children!
Teresa Goodwin - Dental Nurse
Teresa is our lead Dental Nurse and is also our practice sedation Nurse. Her engaging personality and exceptional patient care make her an invaluable asset to our team. In her spare time she enjoys reading, walking with friends and spending quality time with her family
